Chacaltaya is both the highest and the most equatorial Ski run in the World. The Ski lift stops just 150M (500ft) short of the summit which is 5,570M (18,275ft)
By normal standards Chacaltaya is classified intermediate, however if you factor in the altitude even experienced skiers will enjoy the challenge.

From the top of the mountain you will also enjoy spectacular views of the Royal Mountain Range, and Titicaca Lake. Of course you will also get to experience some Andean animals such as Llamas, and Alpacas at close quarters.
